Eliot Wineberg - Publisher
Eliot Wineberg published the first issue of Chicago Athlete in the spring of 1987. He began as an avid swimmer, which nautrally led into triathlons--the sport that introduced him to his wife, Clara. In addition to his interest in swimming, running, cycling and triathlons, Eliot has another sport to add to his schedule: parenthood. Eliot has a son, Aaron, and a daughter, Julia, who keep him running all over the house.

Tracy Collings - Advertising/Sales
Tracy Collings has been with Chicago Athlete Magazine since 1999 in advertising sales. She started running in fourth grade and has been involved in the sport ever since, including running track and cross- country in high school at Bloom Trail. These days, in addition to running, Tracy participates in triathlon, mountain biking, snowboarding -- and keeping up with her two kids. Most of her cross-training consists of music class, swim lessons for toddlers and kids races. (Pictured with her son, Jake.)

Jeremy Solomon - Running Network Sales
Jeremy Solomon has been with Chicago Athlete for 12 years now. His background: Played soccer, got a law degree, played soccer, worked in publishing, played more soccer. Then, Jeremy came to Chicago from England and met Eliot. Soon, he was working for Chicago Athlete in sales and now does national sales for the Running Network. He still plays soccer (although much more slowly) and coaches his daughter's team. Jeremy lives near the lake in Evanston, so look for him and his daughter on the running path heading for the playground.

Jonathan Cain - Local Advertising
The fastest member of the Chicago Athlete staff, Jonathan Cain is a former collegiate athlete, running both cross country and track at Hope College where he graduated in 2004. He worked at radio stations WYVN and WHTC in Holland, Michigan and served as the Voice of Hope Women's Basketball. He currently volunteers as and Assistant Cross country and Track Coach at Elk Grove High School. Look for Jonathan racking up places in the Top 10 standings of local 5K and 10K races.
