ATTENTION MARATHONERS!!
    Runners who wish to participate in The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon
on Sunday, Oct. 22, have two very important deadlines coming up.
     FRIDAY, SEPT 22--This is the last day you can mail an application.
     SUNDAY, OCT 1--This is the last day you can register on-line at
www.chicagomarathon.com.  You save $5 by registering on-line.
     According to marathon officials, "no applications will be accepted
after October 1, 2000."
     This is the first time registration has been cut off early at The
LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon.
