Stop by one of five Chicago Bike to Work Week Commuter Stations the
Chicagoland Bicycle Federation will set up along major routes June 11
to 15 and enjoy refreshments, freebees and raffles, plus bike
maintenance checkups by a professional mechanic.
"These stations are open to the bicycling public and offer support like
maps, liquids and reading materials about riding in traffic, parking your
bike and using your bike more," said Chicagoland Bicycle Federation
Executive Director Rob Sadowsky. "We'll also have Mayor Daley's
Bicycling Ambassadors on hand to perform helmet-fittings and answer
questions.
"Bike to Work Week Commuter Stations provide support and resources
for bicyclists at all levels of experience. And it's a good way to meet
other bicycling commuters," Sadowsky said.
Bike to Work week is June 10 to 15 in the Chicago area.
