Fun Run groups left from Fleet Feet's Piper's Alley and Lincoln Square locations then met up at the Mystic Celt, 3443 N. Southport.

The crowd socialized over free food and drinks before presentations by Joints in Motion and Dick Beardsley. After the presentation, a raffle gave away prizes from New Balance, Fleet Feet and Chicago Athlete.

Free food and drinks were available at Mystic Celt after the Fun Runs.

Dick Beardsley spoke about his 1982 Boston Marathon Duel in the Sun with Alberto Salazar. Salazar beat Beardsley by only two seconds. Both men set course records.
