Joints in Motion coach and spokesman Dick Beardsley with
Joints in Motion coach Jenny Stinson at Fleet Feet Piper's
Alley before the Fun Run.
Fun Run groups left from Fleet Feet's Piper's Alley and
Lincoln Square locations then met up at the Mystic Celt,
3443 N. Southport.
The crowd socialized over free food and drinks before
presentations by Joints in Motion and Dick Beardsley. After
the presentation, a raffle gave away prizes from New
Balance, Fleet Feet and Chicago Athlete.

Jaracz, who works for a fire department, also has a pair of
tights with flames on them. He gets his tights from www.runningfunky.com
Free food and drinks were available at Mystic Celt after the
Fun Runs.
Dick Beardsley spoke about his 1982 Boston Marathon
Duel in the Sun with Alberto Salazar. Salazar beat Beardsley
by only two seconds. Both men set course records.
Dick Beardsley signs a copy of Duel in the Sun for
Tiffany Adams of Chicago.
