Chicagoland Bicycle Federation throws party at the Goose Island Brewery
Race on tiny bikes and slake your thirst with locally-brewed beer at Chicagoland Bicycle Federation's Bike Town Bash presented by 312 Urban Wheat Ale 6 to 10 p.m. July 15 at the Goose Island Brewery, 1800 W. Fulton St.

Capacity is limited to 300 people, so register now at www.biketraffic.org/bash or call the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation at (312) 427-3325, ext. 251

Proceeds from the Bike Town Bash fund the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation's work to improve bicycling in Chicagoland and to increase the numbers who use bicycling as a healthy mode of transportation.

Hosted in the brewery's loading dock, the Bike Town Bash features old-school hip hop spun by turntablist DJ sCeNa, a silent auction, tours of the brewery, appetizers, and Tiny Bike Races in which partygoers can compete for prizes riding on clown bikes, big wheels and tricycles provided by the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation.

All ages are welcome, but IDs are required to purchase alcohol (two free drink tickets are given with each admission). Goose Island's line of sodas also is available.

Admission for Bike Town Bash is $25 for members of the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation and $30 for non-members. A membership/admission special is offered at $50, which includes a yearlong membership in the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation. Also available are $100 VIP tickets that entitle the bearer to extras and special treatment for the night.

Full event details are available at www.biketraffic.org/bash
