New for 2007, the Chicago Bike Show and Family Fitness Expo will host
a Bike Club Challenge to area bicycle organizations. The bike club who
brings the most members to the Chicago Bike Show and Family Fitness
Expo will win a free party with pizza and beer presented by the Chicago
Bike Show.
"Bike clubs enhance the Chicago cycling community with an invaluable
grassroots foundation," said sponsorship director Tracy Collings. "This
contest is our way to thank the bike clubs for their continued support of
the Chicago Bike Show."
The 16th Annual Chicago Bike Show and Family Fitness Expo will be
held at Navy Pier on Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15, 2007.
The Chicago Bike Show and Family Fitness Expo is the largest event of
its kind in the Midwest, regularly drawing more than 10,000 cycling
enthusiasts. The show annually features more than 100 local and
national exhibitors, including bike manufacturers, recreational tours,
bike accessories, charitable organizations, training groups, cycling
clubs and more.
BMX riders will perform death-defying stunts at the crowd favorite
Extreme Stunt Area. Also, don't miss the Closeout Center, which offers
great deals on apparel and accessories from local retailers.
The Family Fitness Expo, introduced in 2006, will also return in 2007.
The Family Fitness Expo features a highly popular Kids Demo Area and
fun and games for the whole family.
