The 2001 Jesse White European Steeplechase Chicago is this Sunday, Dec. 9. The second annual event is in beautiful Jackson Park (just south of the Museum of Science and Industry). The race starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration at the race site starting at 8 a.m.

Participants will leap, jump, run, wade, climb (and get muddy) over a four-mile course. All runners will receive a great workout, a winter running hat, Will Bridge's famous chili, and a load of clothes to throw in the washing machine once they finish the race.
