The St. Paddy's Day 5K started at Diversey Harbor at 10 a.m.
It was a sunny but cold morning for the 1,000 participants.
This man wore a kilt for the race. Chicago Athlete decided
not to inquire if he was wearing anything underneath it.
The Leprechaun Leap chidlren's races were open to
children 10 and under. Distance was determined by age
category.
Mikhail Davidyan (above) won overall in 15:30. Jessica
Langford was the first-place woman with a time of 18:24.
In true Irish "spirit" these runners wore beer-dispensing
hats for the 5K.
