As a result of input by its customers, Runner's Edge of Wilmette, IL, will be opening a store in Libertyville, IL. Although the date is not set, owner Bob Klein plans on opening the doors to this second store between Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, 2002.

Runner's Edge of Wilmette currently draws from a consumer population extending throughout the Chicagoland area and even into Wisconsin. This new store will accommodate the multitude of customers currently making the commute into Wilmette and hopefully draw in some new clientele.

The Libertyville location will carry the same lines of running and swim gear and expects to carry 99 percent of the products being sold in Wilmette. Anything not on-site at Libertyville can be shipped from Wilmette, Klein said.

Store hours will be Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.; closed Monday. Thew new store will be located at 111 E. Cook St., Libertyville, IL 60048. Store phone number is 847-549-1108.
