The Runner's Edge Trail Half Marathon took place on September 3, 2007 in Libertyville. Steve Baugh of Sylvania, Ohio, took first place in 1:14:52. Katie Bolling from Northfield was the first place woman in 1:28:06, nearly four minutes faster than any other female.

Pat Pappageorge and Maren Deaver, both from Wilmette, started the race together and, a little over two hours and ten minutes later, finished the race side by side.

Winner Steve Baugh, 39, from Sylvana, Ohio.

Steve Baugh finished first in 1:14:52. Justin Henkel, 31, from Vernon Hills, took second (1:17:13).
