The field capacity of 750 runners is almost reached for the Runner's Edge Trail Half Marathon, according to employees at The Runner's Edge.

The Runner's Edge Trail Half Marathon will take place on Labor Day, September 3, in Libertyville. The out-and-back course begins and ends at the Old School Forest Preserve and will run along the shaded, groomed trails of the Lake County Forest Preserve along the Des Plaines River.

The course is chip timed and TAC-certified.

Registered runners receive a custom designed TRE Trail Half Sock Guy Coolmax 1/4 sock. T-shirts are also available for purchase for $15.
