Matt Baum has joined the staff of Chicago Athlete in the advertising department. Baum, 22, of Chicago, will be handling regional sales and marketing responsibilities.

Baum will work with Tracy Collings, Chicago Athlete Sales Director. Last summer, he was an intern for Chicago Athlete, managing several marketing projects and representing the magazine in the "CA" tent at races the publication sponsored.

Baum recently graduated from North Central College in Naperville with a degree in organizational communications. He was on the cross-country and track teams, and has a PR of 3:54 in the 1,500 meters, 4:16 in the mile and 26:00 in the 8K.
