CARA Launches Search for New Program Director

The Chicago Area Runners Association is beginning a
search for a Program Director who will have primary
responsibility for strategic development, execution and
analysis of CARA's many training programs including
Beginning Running, for those just beginning a
running/fitness program, and training for the following race
distances: 5K, 8K, 10K, Half-Marathon and Marathon. The
Program Director will also work to identify, train, secure and
reward the hundreds of generous volunteers who serve the
running community in this capacity. Lastly, the Program
Director will be responsible to ensuring the highest level of
expertise and relevance in the educational content of CARA
Training ProgramsCARA wishes to acknowledge Beth Onines for her
dedicated service with CARA as Program Director for the
previous five years. Beth leaves CARA for a new
professional opportunity. Anyone interested in applying for
