CARA 25th Birthday Party Moved to Palmer House Hilton

The Chicago Area Runners Association 's 25th Birthday, Awards Party, and Fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 24, is moving the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe St. (between State and Wabash) in downtown Chicago. The new location is a half block south and one block west of the Chicago Athletic Association, the event's original location. The party begins at 6 p.m.

There will be discounted valet parking at the hotel, and discounted self-parking will be available at 55 E. Monroe. Attendees are urged to get their parking tickets validated before leaving the event.

According to CARA, everything else will be the same - free Goose Island beer, giant birthday cake, silent and live auctions, Circuit awards, and a visit from all of CARA's Past Presidents.
