LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon Registration Opens January 1, 2006

This coming year marks The 29th Annual LaSalle Bank Chicago
Marathon. The pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes and everyday
runners alike, the Marathon is the focal point of Race weekend. An
estimated 1.5 million spectators will line the 26.2-mile course on
Sunday, October 22, cheering on the runners to help them accomplish
their personal dream. Registration for The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon will open January
1, 2006. Registration for the Marathon costs $90 for U.S. participants
and $100 for International participants. For the third year in a row, there will be a 40,000 participant cap, and
registration will close once the cap has been reached. For The 2005
LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon, the registration cap was reached in
mid-July. You can register online at chicagomarathon.com or mail in your
registration form, which is also available online. The Race begins at 8
a.m. Sunday, October 22, 2006. Race packet pick-up will take place at the Health & Fitness Expo on
Friday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 21 from 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. The Health & Fitness Expo includes more than 150
exhibitors featuring the newest designs in running gear and shoes, as
well as the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition.
