Chicago Cyclocross Cup series heads to St. Charles for second race

Race #2 of the Chicago Cyclocross Cup racing series moves to Campton Cross in the City of St. Charles, Ill., on Nov. 4. After the first race of the four-race series, David Sachs (Vision Quest) leads the Men's Pro 1/2 category. Holly Klug (Killjoy) leads the Women's 1/2/3 division.

The lead sponsor of this race is Training Bible Coaching.

The St. Charles course will include a mix of technical grassy sections with a long gravel section for recovery followed by an off camber turn or two. A cement paved climb leading into a short technical grassy section winding around a baseball field into a short two barrier climb. There will also be a super fast three barrier run. The start/finish will be on a nice flat and section.

LAKE Cycling has agreed to sponsor the junior championship race which will award the series winner with a shoe gift certificate. In addition, LAKE Cycling has also donated podium caps to the winners.

Another recent sponsor to the series is Adidas. Adidas agreed to donate shoes gift certificate for the overall point leaders in the following categories: Masters 35+, Masters 45+, Men Pro 1/2, Men category IV, and Women category IV.

Points will be awarded for each race with the winner of each category receiving an Overall Series Winner jersey presented by Pactimo.
