You can get down and dirty for a good cause this Sunday at the 'Save the Drome
Cross Madness' day of racing at Anets Golf Course in Northbrook. The events will
be mostly cyclocross (barriers, mandatory dismounts), but will include a cyclocross-

QuavR Cycling Club, a club seeking to have a strong female presence, has formed in
the far west suburbs. Club founder Jason Pollack, a USA Cycling coach, says the club
also is seeking Junior riders. The club is based in Elburn with indoor workouts taking

The March 7 Los Angeles Marathon will offer a $50,000 bonus to the man or
woman who crosses the finish line first. To set it up, organizers announced

Sally Long, 50, of St. Charles, was the female overall winner on Sunday at the
AARP Tri-Umph Classic National Championship in St. Petersburg, FL. She
