DO YOU VALUE LAKE MICHIGAN? VOICE YOUR OPINION

A reader shared this from PIRG (Pubic Interest Research Group). This fall the governments of Canada and the U.S. have asked the International Joint Commission (IJC), the bi-national body responsible for monitoring and protecting the Great Lakes, for public opinions about how best to protect the Great Lakes for future generations. This is an opportunity to say why the Great Lakes are important to you and here's a petition/action request that you might be interested in filling out if you use this great body of water:

SKI TV

Many local skiers head to the North country and to Michigan to find snow. Here's a good resource for Michigan Ski news and weather conditions. They also have a segment on Frida Waara, who with several women, cross country skied to the North Pole. Click here for more: www.michiganskier.tv

STUDENT NEEDS HELP WITH SURVEY

Here's a note we received from Ara Messerlian, a student in the Graduate Program in Sport Management at Cal State Long Beach:
For a class, I'm conducting a marketing survey to put together a marketing plan for the Inaugural 2006 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend taking place September 15 17, 2006 in Anaheim, CA. I would greatly appreciate if you could take 10 minutes and fill out this brief questionnaire (click on the link below). This is strictly for research purposes and your information will not be recorded or ever used. I just need to collect a sample survey for this marketing plan.
