CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR OWN JEREMY BORLING!

A hearty congratulations to Chicago Athlete's Assistant Editor, Jeremy Borling, who won the 2004 Reggae Half Marathon on December 4 in a record setting time of 1:11:28. In only his third race at this distance Jeremy is well on his way to his next goal: The Marathon. He will make is 26.2 mile debut next month at the Walt Disney Marathon in Orlando, FL on January 9. Not only is he a stellar runner and excellent writer, but he's pretty versatile---he barely had time to cool down after his run when he switched "hats" and covered the Reggae Marathon.

Mike Konrath, the skiing supervisor from Camp Sagawau, advises that there have been a maximum of 30 days that the skiers can enjoy the trails and asks that other trail users to be aware of this and do their best to avoid the tracks."
