Congratulations to Fleet Feet Chicago store owners Dave and
Lisa Zimmer on the birth of their son, Sebastian Hunter Zimmer,
on March 2.
According to their eNewsletter, he's scheduled to start
training for the 2028 Olympic 1500m in just a few weeks.

29th at 9 a.m., Chicago parents can register their children for
classes before walk-in registration starts on Saturday, April
3rd at 9 a.m.

RACING SCENE
Chicago's Chris Wehrman was first to the finish at Sunday's
LifeStart Wacky 5K in 15:52, only one month after competing in
the Olympic Trials Marathon. The overall women's winner was
Kalina Michalska also of Chicago in 19:15.

Sunday's LA Marathon. Michael Stluka from Beecher, IL finished

ATTENTION LADS AND LASSIES
St. Patrick's Day falls in the middle of next week, but the
celebration starts this weekend with Saturday's St. Patrick
School's Runnin' with the rish 5K in Chesteron, Indiana and on
Sunday, the St. Paddy's Day 5K Run/Walk & eprechaun Leap will
start at Diversey Harbor in Chicago. For cyclists, there's the
annual St. Patrick's Day Ride in Wauconda, IL with routes of
16, 20 or
36
miles to choose from.
Of course, don't forget The 25th Anniversary of the LaSalle
Bank Shamrock Shuffle!
