The Galloping Ghost 5K in Wheaton (a CARA Circuit Race) has been
canceled for
2005. They do plan to return with the goal of being an even better event
in 2006.
LOCATION & TIME CHANGE
The Strong Kids 10K Run in La Porte, IN, has changed its location and
time. The
race will now take place at 9 a.m. in Soldier's Memorial Park
DATE CHANGE
The Lafayette Family YMCA Triathlon has switched from June 11 to
June 4.

12. Entries postmarked after 12 a.m., midnight, March 12 will not be
accepted.
Online registration for The LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8K will
remain available
until the maximum of 22,500 participants has been reached, or until
March 22,
whichever comes first. Online registration for the 5K Fitness Walk will
remain
available until March 22 as well. NOTE: There will be NO Race
Weekend

THE Pi RUN
Momentum is hosting a fun run to celebrate the revered mathematical
concept of Pi
(the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter - or 3.14) with a
3.14-mile fun run on March 14. The first 50 people to sign up will get a

technical running cap. The Pi run kicks off at 7 p.m. After the run,
celebrate
