The Discovery Channel will be filming an upcoming Mount
Greenwood Masters Swim
Team workout as part of their "National Body Challenge"
television show this
Saturday at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Park High School (99th &
Kedzie). Michelle
Okrzesik from Worth, IL, the show's Chicago-area challenger,
will attempt to
complete a 200 yard freestyle race as her primary fitness goal.

HEATHER GOLLNICK TO VISIT RUNNER'S HIGH IN ARLINGTON
Three-time Ironman Champion, Heather Gollnick, will be a guest
speaker at Runner's
High in Arlington Heights this Sunday, March 21 from 4:30-6:30
p.m. Cost is a $15
donation (credit card or check) to benefit the United Cerebral
Palsy. To attend

CARA TENT AT SHAMROCK SHUFFLE
New this year at the LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8K on
Sunday, March 28, is the
"CARA Gear Check Tent." CARA members who display a valid CARA
membership card can
stow their gear at the tent from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.. The tent
will be located
near the start/finish area on Columbus Drive. For more

THE WEEKEND AHEAD
Weekend activities include the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation
Conference and their
annual, fundraiser, Bike Town Bash, on Friday night at the
Chicago Cultural
Center. For triathletes the indoor season is winding down with
the Esplande
Fitness Center Indoor Triathlon in Downers Grove on Saturday.
Master swim meets
include Michiana Masters Invitational in South Bend, IN, and
the North Star
Classic on Sunday in St. Charles. And the big running event is
Sunday's March
Madness Half-Marathon in Cary. Will it be warm or snowy? We
wish everyone good
