FREE BIKE LECTURE
"Bike Chicago: Three Months of Bicycling" The Chicago Mayor's Office of Special Events organizes and helps promote various activities to capitalize on bicycling with Bike Chicago. Theresa Cowen, Bike Chicago Coordinator, will reveal the history of Bike Chicago and Cathy Haibach from the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, will highlight the third annual Bike the Drive on May 30. The FREE lectures are today, May 13, starting at 12:15 p.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph St., Claudia Cassidy Theater, 2nd Fl.

SOUTH SIDE RUNNING
CARA is offering programs on Chicago's south side this year. Marathon training runs will take off from Jackson Park on Saturday mornings and there will be a "Beginning Running" class on Monday evenings at the South Shore Cultural Center, 71st St. and Lake Michigan.

NEW RUNNING CLUB
A group of Joliet runners who met regularly realized there was no "organized" group for runners in the area so they formed the Joliet Cyclones Running Club. Runners of all ages and levels are welcome Tuesday night fun runs at 6 p.m. at Hammel Woods in Joliet on Black Road.
