HE'LL BE BACK!
Khalid Khannouchi has signed a four-year deal with The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon that will bring him back to Chicago for the next four years. The deal calls for Khannouchi to participate exclusively in Chicago among all fall marathons.

TRIATHLON SOLD OUT
The 2004 Spirit of Racine Triathlon (formerly Wisconsin's Dairyland Triathlon) has officially Sold Out as of May 19 having reached the field limit of 1,500 participants. A waiting list is available for anyone interested in acquiring a spot that may open up due to injury or illness.

VOICETRAK(tm) DEBUT
MarathonGuide.com and Lakeshore Marathon will debut VoiceTrak (tm) a Runner-Tracking Technology on May 31 at the Lakeshore Marathon in Chicago. How it works is phone calls will announce progress of runners on the race course as they pass the10K, Half-Marathon, 20M and finish line of both the marathon and half marathon. This will be offered in addition to text messaging, Web site searches and email updates. For more information, check out:

Chinatown 5K has changed their date from July 18 to July 17.

THE WEEKEND AHEAD
Cycling highlights incude the TREK Bikes Collegiate Road National Championship in Madison, WI. Road races on Saturday include Chase to the Taste 5K/10K, Just a Little Run, K.I.S.S. and Run 5K/10K and on Sunday there's the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, Main Course 10K, Alivio Y Salud Run for Health 5K and Y Not Run 5K. On Saturday, two popular triathlons are May Madness Sprint Triathlon and Galena Triathlon & Duathlon. For more details on these and other events, check our searchable event calendar:

Also, Chicago Athlete will be at Saturday's Galena Triathlon & Duathlon and on Sunday at the Main Course 10K. Just look for the light blue tent, stop by and say hello!
