QUOTE
"They don't call it long, slow distance for nothing. Every weekend, the
main
objective for the endurance workout is to train S-L-O-W-L-Y. So slowly in
fact,
that you are bored."
---Coach Jenny Hadfield, Chicago Distance Classic eNewsletter.

ANOTHER QUOTE
"I felt good, but I would have like to have thrown further. I kept missing
my
release and that hurt my throw. I'm excited (about going to Pan Am
Juniors) for my
first international competition . . . I'm just going to buckle down the next
few
weeks and work on my turns."
--- Junior Women's Hammer Throw
Brittany Riley, Southern Illinois, Winner (58.56m/192-01)
