FALL MARATHONING

If you missed the deadline to enter The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon or the Twin Cities Marathon you might want to consider these alternatives:

The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on October 3. For more information, check out:
www.badgerlandstriders.org/lakefront

Heading west, there's the Mediacom Des Moines Marathon and Half Marathon on October 17.
For details, check out: www.desmoinesmarathon.com

The Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Bank Marathon, on October 24, is predicting their largest field ever. In addition to the marathon, they also have a 5K, five- person relay and half-marathon. They expect to reach capacity of 2,500 in the half marathon and 400 teams for the 5-person Reebok Relays within the next week or two.
