CARA CIRCUIT UPDATE
Chris Wehrman, 28, 2003 CARA Male Runner of the Year, leads in the
overall male
standings with victories at the Ridge Run 10k (31:28), Chicago Distance
Classic
Half-Marathon (1:11:06), and DeKalb Cornfest 10k (31:33). He bested
his half
marathon time by nearly four minutes in his victory at the Chicago Half-
Marathon,
but didn't score any points since it is not a Circuit event. Elizabeth Engel,
29,
leads the female competition and clocked 18:31 in her win at the I-Run
for Autism
5K.
