The Go Girl Gala, a fund-raiser benefiting Girls On the Run - Chicago, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21 at the Hotel Allegro, 171 W. Randolph St, Chicago.

The public is invited for an evening of fun, music and a silent auction.

Refreshments will include hors d'oeuvres and liquid beverages. Cost is $50 in advance and $60 at the door.

Girls on the Run's purpose is to transform the way girls see themselves and their opportunities. By training girls to run a 5K, along with teaching life skills lessons, Girls on the Run prepares girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.
