First Harvest Fest 5K This Saturday in Roscoe Village

The first annual Harvest Fest 5K will take place at 9 a.m. this Saturday on the North Side. The start will be on Fletcher St., one block south of Belmont, one block east of Damen. The Harvest Fest 5K will offer runners a neighborhood 5K tour through Roscoe Village, a long-sleeve duo-fold technical running shirt and a ticket to Harvest Fest at 1900 W. Belmont. Brooks running shoes will be awarded to the first male and female finishers.

"This will be a great neighborhood event, with a fun, fast course," said Paul Peters, event logistics coordinator.
