Heart Zones to host seminars, workshops and advanced certification in Chicago
March 26, 2007 Chicago Athlete
Heart Zones, an education and training company that develops heart
health and cardiovascular fitness will host seminars, workshops, and
certifications from May 4 to 6 at Chicago's East Bank Club. This
educational and motivational fitness training event shows participants a
new way to get healthy and fitter. Participants will learn how to use their
heart muscle and accompanying technology, a heart rate monitor,
together to create a personal fitness training program based on their
individual bio-makeup.
"The heart rate monitor provides you with immediate feedback that you
are in the right zones to maximize the benefits you get from physical
activity," says Edwards, a member of the Triathlon Hall of Fame, 16-time
Ironman finisher and former master's world record holder. The author of
over twenty books on the topic including the popular and best-selling
title "The Heart Rate Monitor GUIDEBOOK to Heart Zones Training,"
Edwards leads heart-centered seminars throughout the world to fulfill
her mission to show people how to have a healthy heart.
The seminars, certifications, and workshops will teach participants a
powerful and concise training system developed around the use of the
heart muscle coupled to a heart rate monitor. If your program goals are
to lose weight or improve your performance, then creating an
individualized training program with Heart Zones is the most valuable
tool you may have. This year, over thirty seminars will be held around
the world including Europe, Australia, the Canada and other locations.
