9/2/05 - Fleet Feet Sports / Share Your Soles
Fleet Feet Sports is stepping off an emergency shoe drive
with Share Your Soles by donating 100 pairs of new running
shoes to be delivered to people directly affected by
Hurricane Katrina.
Anyone wishing to donate should stop by the closest Fleet
Feet Sports location and drop off new, nearly new or gently
used shoes. The first shipment of shoes will leave from the
Chicago area next weekend.

This just in from Bud James with the Park Forest Scenic 10:
I just wanted to let you know that we are trying to help the
hurricane victims by
taking up monetary collections at the pre-race clinic and
packet pickup on Sunday
at Village Hall in Park Forest from 1 to 4 p.m. and again on
raceday, Monday,
September 5. The American Red Cross will be there both
days to take up the
collection
