Cycling's State Championship Pursuit competition for men will be contested this Monday, July 21 at the Northbrook Velodrome. This change in the schedule was announced on Friday by the Northbrook Cycle Committe. The first attempt at the Pursuit on Monday, July 7 was stopped by Mother Nature. While the Juniors and Women crowned their champions, the men's bracket was only half complete when the lightning began.

All July 7 men's participants must compete on July 21 - even if they were able to race on July 7. Any men's times from July 7 will not count. Women and junior races are complete.

Riders who did not show up on the original pursuit date on July 7 can still show up on Monday and compete. Riders who want to try track racing may compete on their road bike but can't shift gears.
