PARK FOREST, IL - The 27th Park Forest Scenic 10 - to be held September 6 - will add four new members to its Hall of Fame when everyone gathers Labor Day morning. New inductees include:

Phil Hey - long-time track and cross country coach who was instrumental in the development of road running in the south suburban Chicago area in the late 70s and 80s.

John Tallyn - a member of the Scenic 10 staff for over 15 years. John is instrumental in handling logistics and hospitality for our international athletes.

Carol Pratt - a member of our staff for over 15 years. Carol has worked as a host of our invited athletes as well as being able to race competitively in our field of athletes. Carol is also a leader in developing high school distance running in the Illinois High School Association.

Penny Chamberlain - Penny has been an unsung hero for the race for years as an integral volunteer helping with the registration process at the Parks and recreation Department. She has been part of the race for as long as we can remember.

The Park Forest Scenic 10 will take place on Labor Day (Monday, September 6). For more information, check out www.scenic10.com
