Pleasant Prairie, WI (July 25, 2005) - Local event organizers
are proud to announce that Lauren Jensen
has joined the committee as the Official Spokesperson for
the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon. She will be
working with the event committee to promote Pleasant
Prairie as one of the best-kept secrets one the
Midwest race calendar with it's location
(right between Chicago and Milwaukee) and race venue
with a clean, spring fed lake and flat/fast
bike and run courses .
In addition, Lauren will also be providing support to
the race participants on Saturday, August
20 with two free transition clinics in the afternoon, Q & A
sessions during the course talks as well as
providing expert assistance to the young stars of multi-sport
at the Kid's Race.
"Pleasant Prairie offers an incredible venue for athletes of
all abilities. Danskin triathletes can try to
improve their times on the sprint course, try the duathlon or
even move up to the Olympic Distance.
Seasoned triathletes can try for a PR on the fast, flat course.
Ironman Wisconsin athletes can join me in
making the Pleasant Prairie triathlon the perfect race during
their final push in their Ironman
preparation. I will be around all weekend to answer
questions and help everyone race to the best of
their ability," said Jensen.
