The Pleasant Prairie Triathlon announced June 30 that Running Away
Multisport, located at 1634 W. North Avenue, Chicago, is partnering with
the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon as its newest Presenting Run Sponsor.
Lauren Jensen, professional triathlete, is back as the event's
spokesperson and training expert, and Team World Vision joins the
event as a new organizational sponsor. To continue Pleasant Prairie's reputation for giving out the best goodie
bag in the Midwest, Running Away will be providing mesh training caps
to all racers at the finish line. They are also working with race organizers
to supply the event with their new "tri gear bag giveaway," as well as
upgraded dri-fit style participant t-shirts. "It's a technically solid course and an event that offers an outstanding,
overall experience for the athletes," says Cathi Klaver, Pleasant Prairie
Triathlon Committee Chair. "This includes the importance of developing
new sponsor partnerships that enhance the value and quality of the
event. This is exactly what Running Away provides." Team World Vision is an organization that empowers athletes to use
their event to raise funds for the world's most vulnerable children,
especially those living in Africa who are impacted and affected by AIDS.
