Registration open for Pleasant Prairie Triathlon
January 31, 2007
Chicago Athlete

Race offers country setting and the "best goody bag in the Midwest"
The Pleasant Prairie Triathlon has opened registration for its Aug. 19 international and sprint triathlons, duathlon and team races, as well as the Aug. 18 Junior Triathlon.

"We provide a great venue, dedicated volunteers and an excellent location," says Dennis DuChene of the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Participants and spectators truly appreciate the warm hospitality they encounter when they visit the Kenosha Area. It's this hospitality that brings them back."

Participants also enjoy the "best goody bag in the Midwest." This year's goody bag includes a custom biking jersey made of wicking technical material with a zippered front and three back pockets. Every finisher receives a medal.

The swim takes place in a clean, spring-fed lake and the bike and run courses are flat and fast through the beautiful Kenosha area.
