Hook up your own bike to a CompuTrainer Bicycle
Ergometer and race
against others in your age division for cash prizes totaling
$2,000! Sound
good? Prairie Path Cycles will stage its annual Indoor Time
Trial Series (10
kilometers) again this year at the Wheaton Community
Center, 1777 S.
Blanchard Rd., Wheaton.
This series of four indoor races and one outdoor is part of
the
Mid-America Time Trial Series (MATTS) and begins on
Sunday, Jan. 12. Entries
are filling fast for this week, but afternoon slots were still
available as
of Monday afternoon. The remainder of the races are
scheduled for Sunday,
Feb. 2; Sunday, Feb. 23; Saturday, March 15 and Sunday,

The series attracts recreational bikers, racers and
triathletes, and
the intensity of competition varies greatly. Event organizers
aim to place
people of similar abilities next to each other in order to
encourage more
even levels of competition.
Riders who enter will join more than 50 bikers, some of
whom will aim
to break the series record of 14:07.
Entry fee is $20 per event, $12 for Junior racers. To
register, send a
check payable to ABD Cycle Club along with your name,
age, sex and category
to Prairie Path Cycles, 27W237 Geneva Rd., Winfield, IL
