26th Annual LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8K Registration Opens

(Chicago, IL)---This year marks the 26th Annual
LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle, the world's largest 8K race
(4.97 miles). This year's race is set to
take place Sunday, April 3 in Grant Park. More than 20,000
Chicagoans and several world-class athletes will compete
for bragging rights in this favorite spring running tradition
which kicks off the running season into high gear. Registration for the 26th Lasalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle
began January 1st. Early Registration for the 8K race is
only $30 and only lasts until Saturday, March 12th, after
which registration is still available until the 22nd of March for
$37. Other fees and costs include a 5K Fitness Walk for
$20 and the Quarter-Mile Kids Shuffle for $10. Pre-race weekend registration for all events is available
online at www.shamrockshuffle.com and will
completely close at midnight on March 22. Please note:
there will be no weekend or race day registration
available for the 8K race and 5K walk. The 8K race
starts at 9:30 a.m.
followed by the 5K walk at 10 a.m. and the kids' race at 11
