Luke Watson, 26, from Madison, Wis., won the LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle in 23:25. Tera Moody, 26, of Boulder, Colo., won the women's competition (27:07).

Nearly 30,000 participants, the largest field in the history of the race, ran the 8K race on March 25 under mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures.

The race started at promptly 9:30 a.m. from Columbus Avenue.

Conan Jurkowski, 24, from Oak Park, is all smiles at the start of the race.

Runners enjoyed mostly sunny skies and spring-like weather during the race.
