ABD Indoor Time Trial Series Finale Is March 15

Outdoor Trial Set for April 6 in Maple Park
Ladies and gentlemen, start pedaling your Computrainers. The final indoor event of the ABD Cycling Club's 2003 Time Trial Series is this Saturday, March 15, at the Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard Street, Wheaton. Start times for pre-registered participants are posted on the Prairie Path Cycles Web site, listed below.

Mark Schwartzendruber, riding for Turin, has proved unbeatable through the first three events, posting the fastest and second fastest times at each race. His best times have been 14:24.85, 14:54.85 and 14:29.51.

The ABD Club also will be hosting its second annual outdoor time trial, just east of 3downtown2 Maple Park (west of the Fox River) on Sunday, April 6. The event also will serve as the series finale.

Once again, race sign-up begins at 9:30 am at the Maple Park Bar & Grill, where competitors also can get a free post-ride bowl of chili. The event has been renamed the 3John Fraser Memorial 10-mile Time Trial2 in honor of a club member who recently passed away.
