'Warm Up the Oven' Fun Run Is Nov. 19 at Vertel's
November 18, 2003
From press release

Getting ready for the Vertel's Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning? Vertel's is offering a free, non-competitive "Warm Up the Oven" fun run on Wednesday night, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m., from the store at 2001 N. Clybourn, Chicago.

The fun run of 2 to 4 miles (your choice) is open to all abilities and meant to be a warmup for the turkey day race in Lincoln Park. Gear check will be provided at the store. You do not have to be signed up for the Turkey Trot in order to participate in this run, but there will be registration for the Turkey Trot for those that are interested.

After the run, all are invited to post-run festivities, which will include a raffle, at Big John's, 1147 W. Armitage, just around the corner from Vertel's.

For more information, contact Vertel's at 773-248-7400, or log onto www.vertels.com.
