Best Turnout Yet for Zuza NIKEgoddess Fun Run
By Bob Richards
May 22, 2003
Chicago Athlete Magazine

Zuza NIKEgoddess Boutique, the city's newest running store, hosted a fun run sponsored by Chicago Athlete on Wednesday night along the lakefront. The Zuza store, at 2350 N. Clark St. in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood, had its largest turnout yet for its weekly mid-week runs, which began in February.

Runners bundled up in the 46-degree weather and headed into the northeast wind for runs of 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 or 5.5 miles. When they got back to the store, pizza and soft drinks were waiting, courtesy of Chicago Athlete. A post-run raffle also was held with prizes provided by the magazine.

Store owner Greg Harvey and Melissa Byrns the General Manager, as well as sales associates Mimi Sarne and Betsy Meacham were on hand to greet runners.

Zuza has fun runs every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Zuza is Chicago's only "women's athletic boutique." The shop offers fashionable athletic footwear and apparel. For store info, call 773-348-6650.
